How we work

We work on a variety of projects from upgrading traditional gas and oil heating systems to installing air source heat pumps and whole house renovation projects.

Installation using Eastbrook valves and Purmo Forza column radiators

Tell us about your project

To help us get to know your project, we need some information from you, this allows us to provide you with a provisional, estimated cost.

For air source heating systems you can tell us about your home using our simple cost calculator. Find out how much you could save on your annual energy bill and carbon emissions, and request an installation cost estimate.

For whole house renovations or new house builds, plans, elevations and services drawings are also useful.

For replacement oil and gas boilers / heating, please let us have the following:

  • the current boiler’s make and model
  • when it was installed or it’s age
  • images of the current set up
  • details of underfloor access or attic access (depending on where your current boiler and tanks are located)

Site visit & quote

If you are happy with the estimated cost we’ve provided and wish to go ahead with your project, then we’ll arrange a site visit at a convenient time.

During the site visit we will carry out a full survey of your home and firm up the final costs.   We’ll also check on access to underfloor and attic areas depending on the heating installation required.

For air source heating our site visits are usually 2-4 hours depending on the size of your home.  New oil or gas boiler surveys usually take around 1-2 hours, depending on the size of your home.

We’re happy to answer any questions you may have about the project and the work involved during the site visit.

We pride ourselves on working closely with our customers, keeping you informed on progress, and ensuring the minimum of disruption to your home.

If your new heating system, whether that is air source or oil/gas, requires new radiators to be installed we can arrange to remove the existing radiators with the minimum of fuss, and recommend reliable contractors to work on redecoration.

We're always happy to answer any questions you may have during the project.
